EVERY DAY I MIX AND PAINT

Every Day I Mix And Paint, 2004
acryl on canvas
200 x 200 cm

„Every day I mix and paint“ is about imagination, expectation, language, and the experience of the unpredictable and indefinite in an everyday reality. I chose the colors orange and grey because of their concrete meaning in language-imagination. In this sense, both colors were distinct and absolute. Given the perimeter of the absolute, every day I mixed that "absolute" color of my "absolute" imagination of it....and of course, everyday, the result on the canvas was different! The paintings are a type of chronical, perhaps a visual journal, to the phenomenon of the everyday experience of total unpredictability within the frame of the usual.
