acryl on canvas
180 x 180 cm

This installation of paintings was a poetic reference to the question of integrity . The colors chosen, however "monochrome", were mixed, meaning more than one color was used to create that monochrome surface. The painted surface itself is interrupted by a linear remnant of how it was painted (the surface was taped off and painted in either two steps, leaving an almost invisible outline of a square, or four steps, leaving a similar vague outline of an intersection). The square and the intersection are themselves further reference to the entirety of the canvas and to its internal structure (the frame and intersecting supports), as well as the woven structure of the linen.
